Where's Kate?

Where's Kate?

After an extended run, I closed my play Pride and Prejudice off Bway at Primary Stages. I then played Roxane in the  premiere of Cyrano by Brenda Withers and Jason O'Connell, for which I got an Outstanding Performance by an Actress nod from the D-FW Theater Critics Awards. P&P is headed to many theaters this season - read more here and here.

I just became one of the top 5 most-produced playwrights for 2018-2019, and wrote one of the top 10 most-produced plays in the country for the second year in a row. Very proud to be part of the most female, diverse list of this kind, ever!

I have two world premieres coming up in '18-'19, Mansfield Park and Little Women (check out in Upcoming or here). This summer, I went to Hedgebrook Women Playwrights FestivalColorado New Play Festival, Southampton Writers Conference, and Chatauqua Institution... and in September, I'm playing Poppy in Noises Off at Syracuse Stage, directed by Bob Hupp.

I'm working on commissions for A.R.T, Long Wharf, and Cygnet Theatre...

... and I'm working on several new not-yet-announced projects. Stay tuned!

Wherever I go, you can be sure I will be consuming truly unwise amounts of hot sauce.
