Where's Kate?

Where's Kate?

In 2018, I closed my play Pride and Prejudice off Bway after an extended run at Primary Stages. I then played Roxane in the premiere of Cyrano by Brenda Withers and Jason O'Connell, for which I got an Outstanding Performance by an Actress nod from the D-FW Theater Critics Awards. P&P is now one of the most-produced plays in the country and headed to more theaters soon - read more here and here. I also became one of the top 5 most-produced playwrights for 2018-2019, and wrote one of the top 10 most-produced plays in the country for the second year in a row. I had two world premieres in '18, Mansfield Park and Little Women (check out reviews here). I also did many writing residencies and played roles in different shows - both my own and other playwright’s - this year, including Mary Crawford / Lady Bertram in Mansfield Park.

Early in 2019, I’m bouncing between several theaters across the country working on plays, including new works like Prostitute Play and Scarlet Letter. Little Women is coming off-Broadway to Primary Stages in spring ‘19; the inimitable Sarna Lapine directs, and I’ll be playing Meg.

I'm also working on commissions for A.R.T, and Long Wharf, ... and collaborating with The Bengsons on In the Mines!

... and I'm working on several new not-yet-announced projects. Stay tuned! Wherever I go, you can be sure I will be consuming truly unwise amounts of hot sauce.
